Prerequisites

Check these items before you start. Most take only a few minutes.

Checklist

• An email address for the person who will own the Acme account
• A Linux or Windows host with Docker for the connector (see below)
• Outbound HTTPS access from that host to Acme (see Network and firewall)
• Read-only credentials for the first data source you want to connect
• (Optional) Admin access to your identity provider if you plan to use single sign-on

Connector host

Requirement	Minimum
Operating system	Linux (64-bit) or Windows Server 2019 or later with Docker
Docker	Docker Engine 24 or later with Docker Compose v2
CPU	2 vCPUs
Memory	2 GB RAM
Disk	10 GB free
Network	Outbound HTTPS (port 443). No inbound ports needed.

Note

The host needs network access to the data sources you want to connect, not just to the internet.

Check Docker

Run these commands on the host. Both should print a version number.

docker --version
docker compose version
