Quickstart

Follow these steps in order. Make sure you have met the prerequisites first.

1. Create your organisation

   Go to the Acme portal at https://portal.acme-service.example and select Sign up. Enter your work email, choose a password and name your organisation. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and select the link.

2. Choose your region

   Pick the region where your data should be processed: us, eu or apac. You cannot change this later without contacting support, so choose carefully.

3. Create a connector and copy its token

   In the portal, go to Connectors and select Add connector. Give it a name, such as production-network. Copy the enrollment token shown. It is only displayed once.

4. Deploy the connector

   On your Docker host, follow Deploy the connector and paste in the token. Within about a minute, the connector shows as Connected in the portal.

5. Connect your first data source

   In the portal, go to Data sources, select Add data source and follow Connect data sources.

6. Invite your team

   Go to Settings > Users and invite colleagues. See Users and roles.

You are done when

The connector status is Connected and your first data source shows recent data on the dashboard.
